Thomas Anders wears an unusual 'Signet' Ring on the right hand.
For context, in Germany, married couples wear engagement rings on the left hand and the wedding ring on the right hand. Thomas, after marrying Claudia in 2000, kept wearing the wedding ring on his right hand for 7 or 8 years, then for some reason, replaced it with a 'signet' ring.
This signet ring still accompanies him to this day.
On the left hand photo, Thomas is pictured in 2002, with the wedding ring on the right hand.
On the right hand photo, Thomas is pictured in a recent picture from the last 2-3 years with a signet ring, while the wedding ring has now been worn to the left.
What is interesting, though, it's also not very usual for even for celebrities or famous people in Germany to wear a signet ring on the right hand as a married person, unless you're only part of an aristocratic family or nobility.
But Thomas for some reason seems to have it. The question is, what kind of signet ring is it?
It's not like the "NORA" necklace which was deliberately made to be distracting. The ring is a relic that is not usually noticed.
So, to whose "nobility" does it belong? And in worst case scenario, is it also a spying ring that he doesn't seem to take off?
