Thomas Anders erases his 'legal' name and replaces it with his artistic name

Whatever Thomas earned as a singer and performer, he earned it under the contracts he signed as BERND WEIDUNG.

To have two names is one thing, but to remove your legal name by replacing it with your artistic name completely has to be related to something much more serious, which perhaps has to do with inheritance.

Since 'Thomas' earned money, royalties and signed contracts as 'Bernd Weidung', the removal of his legal name would simply cause problems in those cases unless there's something much more serious.

It is quite possible, that by giving up his legal name and replacing it with his 'brand name', he is ultimately giving up his entire wealth to Alexander and Claudia (although he has been doing it for years now). Or in other words, he is already at the mercy of Claudia and Dieter Bohlen. They can remove him from their lives whenever they want, when they see that Thomas is no more useful

The idea is that when this happens, Thomas will fade into obscurity, be thrown on the streets when he isn't needed anymore and when he will remain without his legal name, nobody will find him. Because there are plenty of 'Thomas Anders' on this planet.
